Your group's gift exchange, in one place.
Geftable helps you manage the list for your gift exchange: who's in it, who gives (or doesn't) to whom, and every year before. For a family, friend group, an office or a club.
No ads. We use analytics to anonymously count visits so we can improve Geftable, and we record your visit only if you specifically allow us.

Geftable is in private beta, and we're letting groups in a few at a time. Leave your email, and we'll let you know when it's your turn.
How it works
We email a link to the address you give. Nothing is kept until you press the button it opens.
Do that within 14 days, and you're on the list.
When there's room, we email you a link to come in. It works for 14 days, and after that you can sign in with your address any time.
Every email to the list has a way off it, which deletes your address.
We keep your address and the day you joined, and nothing else.
One list for the whole group
Names and emails. Optionally, who's a couple, which everyone on the list sees, and anyone to keep apart, which only the list's owner and its organizers see (and Geftable, if something goes wrong).
- Ana
- Ben
- Chidi
- Dev
- Elif
Names drawn the way you want
If enabled, couples never draw each other, and the same pairs don't come round again until it's unavoidable. In a secret draw (like a Secret Santa), each person sees only who they give to, and in a couple, who their partner gives to.

Everyone knows who they give to
Everyone gets an email when names are drawn, then a reminder four, two and one weeks before the day. (Unless they don't want them.)

Bring the list you already keep
Kept your gift exchange in a spreadsheet? Import it, with partners and who gave to whom in past years, and the draw remembers those years from the start. Nothing's saved until you've looked it over, and nobody's invited until you say.
A history of giving
Track who gave to whom in prior years so nobody gives to the same person twice in a row.

- 2025 Ana gives to Elif
- 2026 Ana gives to Ben
Give in any group, for any occasion
For Christmas, Hanukkah, Three Kings' Day, Valentine's Day or a day of your own. Each list gets its own colors and icon to help it be memorable. Colors and icons are selected at random, but you can cycle through and pick an icon you like. (We tried to make them fun and interesting.)

Questions
Is it free?
Yes. You can own one list and participate in as many gift exchanges as you are invited to.
We're working on a paid service that will allow you to own unlimited lists. Interested? Let us know.
How is it paid for?
Geftable began as a simple family gift exchange list for Ty's kids. Then he went and overthought it waay too much. A draw that remembers the last five years, so the same pairs don't come round again. List icons made from hundreds of tiles. Twelve holidays. And more than 500 numbered questions about how it should work.
So for now, he pays for it out of his own pocket. There are no ads, and your information is never sold.
Who sees who gives to whom?
If a draw is secret (like in a Secret Santa gift exchange), each person sees only who they give to, and in a couple, who their partner gives to, until the gift day has passed. The list's owner, and anyone they make an organizer, sees each pairing.
Can I run a gift exchange list without being in it?
Yes. Whoever makes (owns) a list can stay out of its draw, and add organizers (in the draw or out of it) to help run it. Organizers see every pairing, so choose wisely. 😉
Can I bring the list we already keep?
Yes. When you start a list, choose Import your current list, and fill in Geftable's template with everyone, their partners and who gave to whom in past years. Nothing's saved until you've looked it over, and nobody's invited until you say.
What if someone joins or drops out after the names are drawn?
Nobody has to draw again. The list's owner, or an organizer, can change that year for as few people as it takes, and anyone new is put in the draw.
Do you need an account?
To see who you give to, yes. It's made the first time you sign in, with a link we email you or with Google, and after that a passkey can sign you in too. There's no password.
Why a waiting list?
Geftable is new, so we're trying to proceed cautiously to make sure things work as expected. Anyone invited to a list can join it right away, and starting a list of your own waits for your turn.
